x-dynatrace-test automatically extracted into request attributes?

From my reading of https://www.dynatrace.com/support/help/setup-and-configuration/integrations/third-party-integrations... , it looks like we have to manually add the request attribute extraction rules.. why not make this an out of the box feature? Maybe enable it in settings?
