exclude Locations from "unexpected low traffic"

Hi,

we get many unexpected low traffic from locations, which are not interesting for our webshop. How can we exclude this locations (Countries) from the alerting?

The AI Should baseline this over time and reduce the alert for low traffic. Right now there is no way to remove the location at an application level. Would be a cool RFE that I'd vote for. You could see about putting in an exception rule to your alert profile for that app and the low user traffic.

AI doesn't help because the traffic is irregular from our "non shop" Regions on our application.

Not sure if your alerts were related to the 4th of July, but here in Portugal, whenever there is a holiday, I also get a lot of them.

I put an RFE for this one, and it seems to be under review. Let's hope it gets implemented soon:

Hi Nima,

I have not tested this, but I believe you could filter out specific locations by adding an event filter to the alerting profiles that are being notified. Doing this would not stop the problems from being generated from dynatrace, but it would stop unnecessary alerts from going out to teams.

Thanks,

you could do this but that would be for the entire alert profile and the entire application which will not allow you to isolate the alert suppression by country.
