Is there documentation on how to send metrics to Dynatrace over StatsD?

I'm excited after reading the recent blog post on pushing custom metrics into Dynatrace (https://www.dynatrace.com/news/blog/dynatrace-simplifies-statsd-telegraf-and-prometheus-observabilit...)

Are there instructions for how to sent StatsD metrics into Dynatrace? I'm not able to find them from the article.

You will need to enable it first in your tenant in Settings -> Monitored technologies:
It is disabled by default. After enabling, your oneagents will listen on tcp and udp ports for the statsd and metric pipe data. Ports are 14499/tcp (metric pipe / line protocol) and 18125/udp (statsd).

Hi Gary,

If I am not mistaken we'll have documentation available very soon.

Hi Gary,

Happy to announce that it's live:

Thanks so much Sia!

The above link does no longer work, but through the Metrics | Dynatrace Docs section you should be able to get there anyway: https://www.dynatrace.com/support/help/how-to-use-dynatrace/metrics

I updated Sia's reply with the latest working link on metric ingestion.
