As I suppose this is product idea rather than question? In general all available metrics from AWS integration can be root cause of problems (according to my experience). At leas you should be able to define custom alert:

I don't think this is possible at this point but I would recommend putting in a feature request.

Here is another, similar topic, with an answer from our Product Manager:

Is it possible to show the Memory information of AWS EC2 instance without OneAgent? 

"Dynatrace AWS integration (extension) gets the data from AWS CloudWatch. There are many interesting metrics for EC2 instances (list) out of which we chose the following:

  • CPU usage %
  • network received/transmitted rate
  • instance storage (read/write IOPS and read/write rate)

Memory utilization is not reported via CloudWatch. To have visibility of the memory usage you need to deploy OneAgent on a EC2 host. It will provide you the monitoring of the resources consumed by the processes running, dependencies to other hosts and processes and much more."
