Disk Space Anomaly Detection based on Space Available Rather than %

Hi,

We have a file server that has 4TB of space, and we set the Anomaly Detection to alert at 1%.  This alerts when there is 40GB left, which is not concerning to the team, however they would like to be alerted if the drive gets to 10GB or less.

Can we send an alert based on space available rather than percent available?  Or any way we can setup that threshold to be less that 1%?

Thank you!

Hi @kwgieni,

I thnik you can use this metric:

builtin:host.disk.avail

DescriptionAmount of free space available for user in file system. On Linux and AIX it is free space available for unprivileged user. It doesn't contain part of free space reserved for the root.

You can create a metric event with this metric which will open a porblem and after initiate an alert:

I hope it helps.
