How flexible is ExceptionPattern on error-detection parameterset API

See: https://www.dynatrace.com/support/help/dynatrace-api/configuration-api/service-api/failure-detection...

We can define classPattern and messagePattern like in the UI but I am wondering if any regex like stuff is allowed? Or is it just contains? case sensitive or not?

@Bert_VanderHeyd  as far as I know it is "contains". No regular expressions.  For case sensitivity, I'm not sure, but I've always used it as it is case sensitive.
