Native network interface monitoring UP/DOWN

Hello,

I'm looking into configuring Dynatrace network alerts on Linux for interfaces that go DOWN. Typically, an interface goes down when the network cable is disconnected.

ip a

2: ens192: <BROADCAST,MULTICAST,UP,LOWER_UP> mtu 1500 qdisc mq state UP group default qlen 1000
    link/ether 00:50:56:ba:b3:86 brd ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff
inet 172.28.183.209/24 brd 172.28.183.255 scope global dynamic noprefixroute ens192
       valid_lft 412593sec preferred_lft 412593sec

Does Dynatrace provide native support for this type of alerts? As I don't see any information in Dynatrace Documentation.

Thanks in advance

Hello,
Not sure if this is going to work for you. But you may try if this suits your requirement.
As far as I know no metric available for nic down but alternatively you could set  builtin: nic connectivity below 1% as anomality detection
Check below settings
