Set Dynatrace disk alert for a specific partition

Currently we are using anomaly detection to alert on low disk space. We need to set a custom alert for a specific partition disk. so when it exceeds a specific threshold we get an alert. is that possible through anomaly detection or Metric Events?

Hi Saeed,

You can set a custom anomaly detection rule for specific desk from settings-->Anomaly detection-->infrastructure

Hello Islam, thanks a million. After creating custom detection rule for a specific disk, is there a way to exclude this disk from anomaly detection under "Disks" so I don't get multiple alerts?

Davis will take care of that, you will not get multiple problems for that. the above method is useful in case you need to apply on same disk on different hosts (like /tmp), but if you want to modify only one host, so you can follow @AntonioSousa idea to customize the anomaly per disk per host.

Thanks,

Islam

Just to complement what @islam_zidan said, you can also do the same definitions at the host or host group level.
