Need for a dashboard with both trending and cumulative results

I need to create a dashboard with both trending and cumulative results.  The metric type is gauge.  Ideally, the cumulative result is flexible for the timeframe (i.e. start of the day, last week....).

Is there a way to create a tile with cumulative results?  The closest idea I had was "rollups" but that is limited to 60 mins and not sure it is even the right result.

Hi, @ronmacdonald , are you using some specific metric for this dashboard? Is it a builtin metric or a custom one? Can you provide more details about it?

thanks

Are you using data explorer visualization to create the needful metric and try to tile it on Dashboard? believe this could be achieved using code mode in DE.

So what I'm trying to do....
I have a metric (custom) that captures the number of logins.
I want to depict:

  1. Number of logins in the interval (say 5 mins) over last 24 hours
  2. Aggregated trend of logins over that same time frame

This is a gauge metric and just looking for an aggregation solution to be cumulative number for a time period.
