Treemap for problem types

Jigeesha_Gupta

Hi Team,

I was trying to create a treemap view for all the problems that occurred (lets say 7days). I downloaded the JSON file from Problem API (having around 120 problems) and now wanted to create a treemap where I could get the count of problems categorized on their type that could then help me prioritize them.

Kindly advise how can I create one .

Hello @Jigeesha_Gupta,

using the API, you can export the data in an Excel sheet and create the treemap, or you can use the dashboard powerups browser extension, but I think the treemap is deprecated.

I think you can follow the same suggestion I did proposed here, creating filters for the problems based on its severity/impact and pinning them to the dashboard.

Hi @dannemca .. thanks for your reply and suggestion. I forgot to mention I m currently working for managed customer so not able to use DQL too for problem charting.

Had a look at your suggestion above, that already had been doing but was wondering if treemap view or similar is available that I am not aware of. I assume now, it is not available so had given it as a product idea too if there is any possibility to bring that feature on DT UI, would be great and save a lot of time plus providing valuable visualization. Welcome your thoughts too. Check this thread I posted under - https://community.dynatrace.com/t5/Product-ideas/Adding-a-feature-on-Dynatrace-UI-to-have-a-treemap-...
