Basic question, can I create an event in the API without an "attachRules"?

Hi Henk,

No you can't. We have that on the roadmap to simplify the ingest of log lines and events in future releases and also to allow you to send in events without topological relevance.

But as I said that's a future topic, right now you have to send all events onto an entity.
