Is there a way to have OneAgent on a Linux server ignore the virus scanning process?

We're currently experiencing an issue with OneAgent where we have gaps in the data and we see "Unmonitored" periods in the availability of the Linux servers.  We can trace this back to a Virus scanner running on the server.  We were wondering if there is a way to have OneAgent ignore that virus scanning software.

I dont quite understand, Is Dynatrace alerting you to the scan? Or is the Scan causing a gap in metric data from the Oneagent? I have had issues with Virus scans before and the solution as to put the Oneagent Directories into an approve/ignore list.
