Requests from hosts under service

kadirhan
Guide

Hello ,

We can see the total request value of the service on Dynatrace , but we cannot see how many requests are coming from which hosts of a service . Is there any way to see this?

I don't understand why we couldn't pull this information. Trace actually contains the information from which host the Request came from.

For example , the total number of requests for a service is 5m , the service is running on 2 hosts . I want to see how many requests came from Host1 .

Thanks.

So there are a few ways, first you can chart it per host by the services details page:

Or you can look at it collectively via the Services Flow page:

Hi,

You can check Analyze individual service instances.

Hello ,

yes I can get this information from here , thanks for helping. but I want to add this value to the dashboard. is there a chance to get this parameter from data explorer? or anything way for Dashboard.

Best Regards

Hi,

You should check if that metric is able to be filtered by instance/host.

If not, you can create your own Calculated metrics for services or using Multidimensional analysis.
