What Dynatrace marks as a root cause is determined by the AI. More reading and exact definitions can be found here: https://help.dynatrace.com/problem-resolution/root...

Essentially, the root cause column contains info about services or entities from the environment that the AI has marked as having started the effects of what is experienced during the problem.
