Metric event: value is not equal to

While configuring the metric events, we can choose if the metric value is above or below a particular threshold.
Is there a way or is there a plan to include a single condition - say- value is not equal to?

To give an example - if the value is always 1, an alert needs to be generated if the value goes to 2 or falls to 0. Instead of having two metric events for each case above and below the threshold, is there a way we can just use "if the threshold is not a particular value"?

In the new UI, this can be possible through workflows, I believe, but in case migration to the new platform isn't possible, or in the case of managed customers, how do we go about setting this?

Is there a way this can be achieved with a single metric event, or is this suitable as a product idea?

Hello @rohit_bc.

As you say in your post, you can only go above and below. Try explaining the use case in Product Ideas, I think equals and not equals cases should be added and it could be valuable to have those options.

The true delight is in the finding out rather than in the knowing.
