Pie chart sort not following ascending sort option

Can someone confirm if the Pie chart visualization can't sort results by ascending order?

And, yes, I am clicking on the "Run query" button after editing the values in the code.

All other visualizations work just fine. Only Pie is not following it.

No! I'd argue no, and to me, it seems rather like a bug.

 

Can you please open a support ticket so we can take a closer look at it?

Indeed a bug, which was resolved in version 1.250.
As per ticket opened:
