oneagent on host with multiple nics

oneagent is installed on a host with multiple nics/ipaddresses.  Is there a parameter for oneagent to be configured or some way to force oneagent to use a specific nic/ipaddress to communicate with the Activegate?  I need the oneagent to bind to a specific ip address on the host for communicating with the activegate.

Hello @Greg_Sanders from the Dynatrace perspective you can define Network Zones  for OneAgent connectivity.

From the OS perspective if all the interfaces are connected to the same network one of the solutions is to configure settings in /etc/network/interfaces adding default route with a predefined metric to the interface you want.

The true delight is in the finding out rather than in the knowing.

There are 4 interfaces on the host with the oneagent and the primary interface does not have a path to the activegate, but that is the interface the oneagent defaults to.
