Configure on premise application using application detection rule

Vaishnavi_Ubhe

Hi,

I am trying to configure the on-prem INTRANET application for Real User Monitoring.

One Agent is installed on the server of the application.

for example,

The URL is https://abc-emea.intra.corp/XYZ-ABC-STU/  I used URL equals rule for this , but no data is feteched in Frontend.

Another type of URL is :

abc3524.xyz.intra.corp:7046/prd_user

I am not sure which type of rule should I use to configure the above 2 links.

Can anyone guide me on this?

Hello,

First of all, you need to make sure that you installed the agent on the web server that run the internal application, and you need to restart the web service process to complete the instrumentation. after that, you should get a list of discovered domains under my web application, you can group all the application domains and IPs under new application.

Regarding detection rules, both of them should work in case that you have a correct instrumentation process, you can check if the application is instrumented or not by checking the ruxit js in the header of the page. Please check the below document for further details.
