Process monitoring - cron, NTPD, Syslogd, Xinetd

Is Dynatrace have capable to monitor the cron,NTPD,Syslogd,Xinetd Processes,if yes then how to monitor it

Hi @Lucasvu , yes, Dynatrace can monitor them. You will just need to create rules for the Process Group detection, since those are common Linux processes that are not shown as dedicated processes on Dynatrace.

Once you define the proper rules to create the new Process Groups, you can then enable the Availability Monitoring for those.

@dannemca  - you need to use custom process detection rules, not the the detection rules. Yes, the naming is confusing 😁
Anyway, @Lucasvu, if you have OneAgent 1.217 or newer, then you should use the Declarative Process Grouping. It's much more flexible than the old custom process detection rules.
